The event, which serves as a pilot program, follows the successful launch of a similar effort on June 6, where over 250 families were provided with much-needed assistance."I had a passion to bring this event to these military families because our Soldiers need help," Savarimuthu shared. "So, I thought that this would be a great ministry from our Religious Support Office to bring the mission of God's love to the people."

It's good that the food bank is coming out here to give back to the Soldiers that are giving back to the country."

"It's going to help a lot of Soldiers, including me, to save some funds to do other stuff with our families."
