Later that evening, the skies over Lincoln Park will come alive with the Grand Junction's Fourth of July Fireworks, a dazzling display that will cap off the day's festivities.Across the valley, the Palisade Fourth of July Parade and Games in the Park will also take place on the Fourth, with the parade marching down Main Street and family-friendly activities following at Veterans Memorial Park. In Collbran, the Plateau Valley Heritage Days celebration will feature a parade, rodeo events, and a street dance, creating a truly immersive Independence Day experience.

Music, Art, and Community Gatherings

The Grand Valley's Fourth of July celebrations extend beyond the traditional parades and fireworks, offering a diverse array of cultural and artistic experiences. On Wednesday, July 3rd, the War Hippies will take the stage at Clubhouse 25 in Tiara Rado Golf Course, hosting a Red, White & Blue Party with food, lawn games, and sparklers. The following day, Thomas Mac will headline the Red, White & Blue Party-Night 2 at Warehouse 25Sixty-Five, with a parking lot party, food, and lawn games.For music lovers, the lineup continues throughout the weekend, with performances by Erik Patrick Kelly at Trail Life Brewing on July 3rd, Austin Williams at Warehouse 25Sixty-Five on July 5th, and Blitzen Trapper at the Mesa Theater on July 7th. The region's vibrant art scene will also be on full display, with numerous art shows and openings scheduled for First Friday on July 5th, including exhibits at The Art Center, Orbit ArtSpace, and Uncanny Valley Art Gallery.
